Cowen Asset Management offers institutional investors a range of investment strategies managed by portfolio managers with extensive long term proven track records. The firm was founded in 2006 to exclusively focus on high value-added equity investment strategies. Our model was designed to recruit experienced investment professionals who have proven their ability to successfully manage client assets in their specific areas of expertise. Each of our portfolio managers average more than 20 years of investment experience.

Cowen Asset Management, financially backed by Cowen Group, Inc., was established and is run by veteran industry professionals who have years of experience building successful asset management firms. The firm has offices in Boston, New York and London

Global Investment Team (UK)

The Global Team based in London is part of the firm’s long-term strategy to build global asset management capabilities. Cowen Asset Management is one of a small number of institutional boutique long-only fund management businesses to launch in London since the trend towards alternative investments started. Cowen Asset Management’s Mark Amery, Madeleine Barker, Malcolm Thomas and Ann Ellis first began working together as a team in 1995 at Swiss Life Asset Management and produced consistent outperformance over many years. The team manages six strategies:

Small Cap Growth Investment Team (US)

The Small Cap Growth Team is lead by Andrew Morey. Andrew has long track record of outstanding performance running small cap growth portfolios. The majority of his career was spent with State Street Research & Management where he was a portfolio manager on the small cap growth strategies. The team manages two long-only strategies:
